Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mirrabooka in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,730 males or 15.3%)
  • Manufacturing (1,075 males or 9.5%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (1,034 males or 9.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,839 males in total or 34.0% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, South West Region employed 16.6% in Construction; 11.2% in Manufacturing; and 5.0% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Mirrabooka and South West Region were:
