Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Darling Range in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (2,753 people or 11.4%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,746 people or 11.4%)
  • Retail Trade (2,216 people or 9.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 7,715 people in total or 32.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Kwinana employed 9.7% in Construction; 14.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.1% in Retail Trade.
