Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Kingsley in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,942 people or 13.8%)
  • Construction (2,449 people or 11.5%)
  • Education and Training (2,427 people or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 7,818 people in total or 36.8% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Belmont employed 12.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.1% in Construction; and 6.4% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Kingsley and Belmont were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed in education and training (11.4% compared to 6.4%)
