Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Warren-Blackwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (3,003 people or 15.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,006 people or 10.1%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (1,768 people or 8.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 6,777 people in total or 34.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Bassendean employed 0.4% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 13.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 6.4% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Warren-Blackwood and Bassendean were:
