Analysis of the household/family types in South Perth in 2021 compared to Morley shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 24.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 7.1% were one-parent families, compared with 28.6% and 11.0% respectively for Morley.
There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 30.6% compared to 26.1% in Morley while the proportion of couples without children was 26.8% compared to 25.6% in Morley.
