Analysis of the household/family types in Vasse in 2021 compared to Armadale shows that there was a similar proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 27.1% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 8.9% were one-parent families, compared with 27.5% and 14.8% respectively for Armadale.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 22.7% compared to 25.8% in Armadale while the proportion of couples without children was 30.9% compared to 21.8% in Armadale.

The number of households in Vasse increased by 2,294 between 2016 and 2021.
