Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Hocking in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (524 people or 14.0%)
  • Construction (417 people or 11.1%)
  • Retail Trade (357 people or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,298 people in total or 34.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, North West Metropolitan Region employed 13.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Construction; and 9.5% in Retail Trade.
