Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Hocking in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

In combination, these three industries employed 1,298 people in total or 34.6% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, North West Metropolitan Region employed 13.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Construction; and 9.5% in Retail Trade.
The major difference between the jobs held by the population of Hocking and North West Metropolitan Region was:
