Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Darch in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (540 people or 13.8%)
  • Retail Trade (453 people or 11.6%)
  • Construction (366 people or 9.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,359 people in total or 34.7% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Jindalee employed 14.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.2% in Retail Trade; and 12.8% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Darch and Jindalee were:
