Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Moyhu and King Valley in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (276 people or 27.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (113 people or 11.4%)
  • Manufacturing (98 people or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 487 people in total or 49.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Wangaratta (Central - East) employed 2.7% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 24.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.3% in Manufacturing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Moyhu and King Valley and Wangaratta (Central - East) were:
