Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City of Vincent in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (3,215 people or 14.6%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (3,105 people or 14.1%)
  • Education and Training (1,946 people or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 8,266 people in total or 37.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Greater Perth employed 7.8% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 14.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.8% in Education and Training.
