Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Railway Estate in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (268 people or 17.7%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (160 people or 10.6%)
  • Education and Training (152 people or 10.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 580 people in total or 38.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the Central Business District employed 16.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 17.7% in Public Administration and Safety; and 7.9% in Education and Training.
