Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Cranbrook in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (195 males or 14.4%)
  • Retail Trade (127 males or 9.4%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (113 males or 8.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 435 males in total or 32.2% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Douglas employed 6.6% in Construction; 8.2% in Retail Trade; and 17.2% in Public Administration and Safety.
