Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in City and Beach Side in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,347 people or 20.4%)
  • Public Administration and Safety (795 people or 12.0%)
  • Education and Training (778 people or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,920 people in total or 44.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Belgian Gardens - Rowes Bay employed 20.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.8% in Public Administration and Safety; and 12.2% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of City and Beach Side and Belgian Gardens - Rowes Bay were:
