Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Westbrook in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (315 females or 26.6%)
  • Education and Training (207 females or 17.5%)
  • Retail Trade (138 females or 11.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 660 females in total or 55.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Rockville employed 31.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.8% in Education and Training; and 13.5% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Westbrook and Rockville were:
