There were more female professionals in Gables in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Gables in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (312 females or 35.5%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (206 females or 23.5%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (109 females or 12.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 627 females in total or 71.4% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, The Hills Shire employed 35.1% in Professionals; 23.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 10.7% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Gables and The Hills Shire were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (12.4% compared to 10.7%)
