Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Western Rural in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Managers (280 males or 33.5%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (181 males or 21.7%)
  • Labourers (100 males or 12.0%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 561 males in total or 67.2% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Moonbi - Kootingal employed 8.0% in Managers; 33.0% in Technicians and Trades Workers; and 17.2% in Labourers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Western Rural and Moonbi - Kootingal were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed as Managers (33.5% compared to 8.0%)
