Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Calala (urban) in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (289 females or 27.4%)
  • Education and Training (190 females or 18.0%)
  • Retail Trade (128 females or 12.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 607 females in total or 57.6% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Tamworth Regional Council employed 27.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 14.5% in Education and Training; and 11.8% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Calala (urban) and Tamworth Regional Council were:
