Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in South West Queensland ROC in 2021 compared to Regional QLD shows that there was a lower proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 38.1% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 48.0% had no qualifications, compared with 51.1% and 38.0% respectively for Regional QLD.

The major differences between qualifications held by the male population of South West Queensland ROC and Regional QLD were:
