Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Ward E in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (2,717 people or 12.0%)
  • Education and Training (2,625 people or 11.6%)
  • Construction (2,383 people or 10.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 7,725 people in total or 34.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Sutherland Shire employed 12.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 10.1% in Education and Training; and 11.3% in Construction.

The major difference between the jobs held by the population of Ward E and Sutherland Shire was:
