Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Sylvania Waters in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (175 people or 11.7%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (174 people or 11.6%)
  • Retail Trade (147 people or 9.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 496 people in total or 33.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Menai - Sandy Point employed 9.9% in Construction; 12.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.2% in Retail Trade.
