Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Taren Point in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (75 people or 12.3%)
  • Retail Trade (73 people or 12.0%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (61 people or 10.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 209 people in total or 34.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Engadine employed 12.4% in Construction; 7.7% in Retail Trade; and 13.7% in Health Care and Social Assistance.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Taren Point and Engadine were:
