Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Yarrawarrah in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (182 females or 24.7%)
  • Education and Training (155 females or 21.0%)
  • Retail Trade (64 females or 8.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 401 females in total or 54.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Engadine employed 22.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 17.7% in Education and Training; and 8.8% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Yarrawarrah and Engadine were:
