Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Caringbah South in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (852 people or 13.1%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (721 people or 11.1%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (646 people or 9.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 2,219 people in total or 34.1% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Grays Point employed 12.4% in Construction; 14.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 10.4% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Caringbah South and Grays Point were:
