Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Subi Centro in 2021 compared to the City of Subiaco shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 12.7% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 5.3% were one-parent families, compared with 22.8% and 6.8% respectively for the City of Subiaco.

There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 41.6% compared to 36.2% in the City of Subiaco while the proportion of couples without children was 30.7% compared to 25.1% in the City of Subiaco.
