The size of Homebush's labour force in 2021 was 6,828, of which 1,859 were employed part-time and 3,816 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) in Homebush in 2021 compared to Greenacre shows that there was a higher proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 93.6% of the labour force was employed, and 6.4% unemployed, compared with 89.7% and 10.3% respectively for Greenacre.
