Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Malvern in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (479 males or 18.7%)
- Financial and Insurance Services (289 males or 11.3%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (268 males or 10.5%)
In combination, these three industries employed 1,036 males in total or 40.4% of the total employed male resident population.
In comparison, IMAP area employed 17.9% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 7.6% in Financial and Insurance Services; and 7.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance.
The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Malvern and IMAP area were:
