An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Nowra in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Community and Personal Service Workers (605 people or 18.9%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (487 people or 15.2%)
- Labourers (472 people or 14.7%)
