Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Ulladulla in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Retail Trade (439 people or 16.6%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (375 people or 14.2%)
  • Construction (351 people or 13.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,165 people in total or 44.0% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Planning area 1 employed 10.8% in Retail Trade; 8.9% in Accommodation and Food Services; and 9.8% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Ulladulla and Planning area 1 were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed in retail trade (16.6% compared to 10.8%)
  • A larger percentage of persons employed in accommodation and food services (14.2% compared to 8.9%)
