Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Ulladulla in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (323 males or 24.3%)
  • Retail Trade (175 males or 13.2%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (156 males or 11.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 654 males in total or 49.2% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, West Nowra - South Nowra and Surrounds employed 14.5% in Construction; 8.4% in Retail Trade; and 6.4% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Ulladulla and West Nowra - South Nowra and Surrounds were:

  • A larger percentage of males employed in construction (24.3% compared to 14.5%)
