Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Bomaderry in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (513 people or 19.7%)
  • Retail Trade (313 people or 12.0%)
  • Accommodation and Food Services (246 people or 9.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,072 people in total or 41.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Coastal Mid employed 15.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 8.2% in Retail Trade; and 8.1% in Accommodation and Food Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Bomaderry and Coastal Mid were:
