Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Planning area 1 in 2021 compared to Huskisson - Tomerong and Surrounds shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 23.4% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 11.7% were one-parent families, compared with 26.5% and 6.7% respectively for Huskisson - Tomerong and Surrounds.
