Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings in Milton-Ulladulla Structure Plan area in 2021 compared to Kiama Municipality shows that there was a similar proportion of dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and a lower proportion of dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms.
Overall, 16.6% of households were in dwellings with 2 bedrooms or less, and 36.1% of 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 17.0% and 41.5% for Kiama Municipality respectively.
The major differences between the number of bedrooms per dwelling of the Milton-Ulladulla Structure Plan area and Kiama Municipality were:
- A larger percentage of 3 bedroom dwellings (41.7% compared to 37.5%)
- A smaller percentage of 5 or more bedroom dwellings (6.3% compared to 9.4%)
