Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Greater Shepparton in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,472 males or 22.4%)
  • Managers (2,825 males or 18.2%)
  • Labourers (2,654 males or 17.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 8,951 males in total or 57.6% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Victoria employed 20.3% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 16.5% in Managers; and 10.9% in Labourers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of the City of Greater Shepparton and Victoria were:
