Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Shepparton Central in 2021 compared to the City of Greater Shepparton shows that there was a lower proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 12.7% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 8.3% were one-parent families, compared with 26.9% and 11.1% respectively for the City of Greater Shepparton.

There were a higher proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of couples without children.
