Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Scenic Rim Regional Council in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (1,774 males or 18.4%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (976 males or 10.1%)
  • Manufacturing (853 males or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 3,603 males in total or 37.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Regional QLD employed 16.2% in Construction; 5.7% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; and 7.8% in Manufacturing.
