Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Scenic Rim Regional Council in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (1,858 females or 20.4%)
  • Education and Training (1,280 females or 14.0%)
  • Retail Trade (897 females or 9.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 4,035 females in total or 44.2% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Rathdowney and District employed 11.5% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 13.3% in Education and Training; and 4.5% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Scenic Rim Regional Council and Rathdowney and District were:
