Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in City of Salisbury in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (7,832 males or 22.7%)
  • Labourers (5,724 males or 16.6%)
  • Machinery Operators And Drivers (5,714 males or 16.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 19,270 males in total or 55.9% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Greater Adelaide employed 20.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 11.8% in Labourers; and 9.8% in Machinery Operators And Drivers.
