Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Salisbury Downs in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Manufacturing (201 males or 15.0%)
  • Construction (180 males or 13.5%)
  • Retail Trade (129 males or 9.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 510 males in total or 38.1% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Salisbury employed 13.3% in Manufacturing; 14.4% in Construction; and 9.2% in Retail Trade.
