Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Paralowie in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (925 females or 24.8%)
  • Retail Trade (477 females or 12.8%)
  • Education and Training (327 females or 8.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,729 females in total or 46.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, the City of Salisbury employed 26.9% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.8% in Retail Trade; and 10.2% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Paralowie and the City of Salisbury were:
