Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Port Kennedy in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,255 people or 20.0%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (869 people or 13.8%)
  • Professionals (744 people or 11.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,868 people in total or 45.7% of the employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Rockingham employed 19.4% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 14.5% in Community and Personal Service Workers; and 14.3% in Professionals.
