Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Park Avenue in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (309 females or 28.9%)
  • Retail Trade (158 females or 14.8%)
  • Education and Training (140 females or 13.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 607 females in total or 56.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Rockhampton employed 28.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Retail Trade; and 15.2% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Park Avenue and Rockhampton were:
