Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Gracemere in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (797 females or 29.7%)
  • Retail Trade (374 females or 13.9%)
  • Education and Training (317 females or 11.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,488 females in total or 55.4% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Rockhampton employed 28.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.6% in Retail Trade; and 15.2% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Gracemere and Rockhampton were:
