Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in The Range in 2021 compared to Berserker and The Common shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 29.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 10.8% were one-parent families, compared with 19.6% and 14.6% respectively for Berserker and The Common.

There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 24.9% compared to 31.6% in Berserker and The Common while the proportion of couples without children was 25.3% compared to 18.4% in Berserker and The Common.
