Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the population needing assistance in Rockhampton Regional Council in 2021 compared to Regional QLD shows that there was a lower proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a higher proportion of people with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 24.0% of the population needing assistance aged 15 years or more held educational qualifications, and 64.1% had no qualifications, compared with 31.7% and 59.3% respectively for Regional QLD.
