Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Wellington Point in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (853 females or 25.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (787 females or 23.7%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (590 females or 17.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,230 females in total or 67.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Greater Brisbane employed 28.1% in Professionals; 20.5% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 16.9% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Wellington Point and Greater Brisbane were:
