Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of Thornlands in 2021 compared to Australia shows that there was a higher proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 22.6% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 13.8% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 19.0% and 16.3% respectively for Australia.
