Dominant groups
Analysis of the car ownership of the households in West Daly Regional Council LGA in 2021 compared to Regional NT shows that 31.7% of the households owned at least one car, while 60.2% did not, compared with 69.7% and 17.9% respectively in Regional NT.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 21.9% of the households owned one car; 6.9% owned two cars; and 3.0% owned three cars or more, compared with 37.4%; 21.6% and 10.8% respectively for Regional NT.
