Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in the District Council of Ceduna in 2021 compared to the City of Whyalla shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 22.2% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 9.5% were one-parent families, compared with 19.9% and 12.2% respectively for the City of Whyalla.
