Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (3,921 males or 21.8%)
  • Managers (3,480 males or 19.3%)
  • Professionals (3,344 males or 18.6%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 10,745 males in total or 59.7% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Palerang Eastern Areas employed 19.7% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 28.3% in Managers; and 13.6% in Professionals.
