An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council area in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

- Construction (3,506 males or 19.5%)
- Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (1,448 males or 8.1%)
